When Novo Nordisk wanted to spark conversations about diabetes in the South Asian community, I jumped at the chance to make a slick, Nike-style ad that replaced 19 year-old athletes with South Asian seniors to highlight their hard work, athlete-like perseverance, and to pose the question: after getting through life's toughest challenges... are you really going to let sugar take you down?
