Just… just watch this trailer.

Pixar’s ‘Inception’: ‘Up!’ cut to the Inception trailer audio. So great.

It makes me really think about the storytelling differences between animation and live action— I bought into the world of Up so deeply that I never really realized how much trippy imagery is in it, where it would be 100% insane in a live action flick that no one would ever believe.

Full trailer for Harry Potter + the Deathly Hallows 1&2

Even without the HD version yet, this is pretty incredible— the stylized art direction, visual effects, cinematography— the whole set is going to be an amazing experience on IMAX 3D

UPDATE: MuggleNet has the trailer in hi-res and HD here.

I love me some solid film scores, and no one gets them made like Christopher Nolan. After the musical powerhouse that was The Dark Knight, this track from the Inception trailers by Zack Hemsey screams “watch me on IMAX” at every moment.

And watch you I will.

I think I would rank this “Video Game Movie Trailer” my #1 favourite Mega64 video. A tough call to make, but this one was the best production quality they’d ever achieved at the time, showed that they had chops beyond random skits (I’ve only seen one episode of their show, the first of “Version 2”, and did not enjoy it at all), and, well, I won’t ruin it.

Just watch the video and enjoy.

Trailer for Adam McKay’s (Step Brothers, Anchorman) new film, “The Other Guys”. SO looking forward to this film; it pretty much looks like a much, much better version of Cop Out, and it’s defs. one of my more anticipated films this year. I laughed hard at this trailer, which is rare. It’s just that Will Farrell combined with McKay’s masterful control of tone makes for solid comedies time and time again.

Still need to check out Talladega Nights…

They are the best, and they specialize in the ridiculous!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows teaser trailer!

Well gee, this just gets me more excited to finally watch the Half Blood Prince

The trailer for Robert Pattinson, Pierce Brosnan, and Chris Cooper’s “Remember Me”

See, I’m convinced Pattinson can act, I just wish he was allowed to use his real accent.

I’ve been excited for this movie since I heard about the cast (expect plenty of TV spots for it between The Office + 30 Rock in the coming months), and, featuring two of my favourite comedians in terms of Carell & Fey, it’ll be difficult for me to be disappointed.
I can say that this is not at all the kind of film I expected, and it’ll likely be pretty formulaic, but I am there nonetheless.
Some scenes, much like many in last year’s Get Smart look waaaaaay too ‘video’ to me - Stu Maschwitz could explain exactly why in terms of shutter, etc., and I really wish certain DPs could get that figured out for low-light/kinetic situations as it cut’s the look of the budget by about 75%. Happened in District 9 once too, but that was a low-light, smoky, small location with a lot of stress on the production crew already. This is Steve Carell and Tina Fey in an alley.
Enjoy the trailer nonetheless, and let me know what you think
