Ok. So.
This year, I, along with the six friends and fellow students, decided to compete in the annual 48 hour film competition, Zoomfest. It was the third time for some of us, and the first time for others.
The basic idea: teams are given the topic on Friday @ 5PM, and have to hand in a DVD of the completed film by Sunday @ 5.
48 hours to write, plan, shoot, edit, score, and burn a copy of a completely original film.
Our topic for this year:
To Err is Human
Prop: A Wheel
We have been nominated for one or more categories this year, with categories coming soon and the awards gala on December 6th @ Mulgrave Academy in North Van.
The cut of this film was over 7 minutes, but had to be cut down due to the festival’s 6 minute limit. An extended version will be released soon.
Enjoy,
-Kashif
I’ve watched [the film] like five times in a row today, and it gets more awesome the more times I watch it.-Max Schroeder, Zoomfest Alum
